The additional space has allowed the store to enhance and expand its various departments, providing customers with a more diverse selection and greater convenience.The meat, seafood, produce, grocery, dairy, and frozen food sections have all been expanded, offering customers a wider variety of high-quality products to choose from. The food service department has also been enlarged, making way for a host of exciting new services and features.

One of the most notable additions to the remodeled Food City is the inclusion of a Starbucks café. This partnership will provide customers with a wide assortment of blended hot and cold coffees, beverages, and a selection of tasty breakfast sandwiches and pastries. The expansion has also made room for a fresh food bar, featuring a variety of soup, salad, and fruit options, as well as an Asian wok, brick pizza oven, and a hickory smoker.The store's specialty offerings have also been enhanced, with the addition of a large selection of gourmet cheeses, a fresh sushi counter, and a specialty cake shop.
