In the comedy realm, HBO | Max's "Hacks" swept both the Outstanding Achievement in Comedy and Individual Achievement in Comedy categories. In the realms of news and information, ID's acclaimed and uncompromising docuseries "Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV" earned the Outstanding Achievement in News and Information award, while Peacock's killer competition series "The Traitors" slayed in the Outstanding Achievement in Reality Programming category.

The TCA also took the opportunity to recognize the enduring significance and impact of David Lynch and Mark Frost's masterful mystery series "Twin Peaks," which was awarded the prestigious Heritage Award. The cult classic, which originally debuted on ABC in 1990, continues to captivate audiences with its surreal exploration of the murder of homecoming queen Laura Palmer.

Celebrating a Legendary Career

The TCA was also proud to name beloved actor Andre Braugher as this year's Career Achievement recipient, honoring his incredible life and legacy that has captivated audiences around the world. Braugher's versatility and depth as an actor, showcased in roles ranging from hardened detectives to dry-witted captains, have solidified his status as a true master of both comedy and drama."It was a year of brilliant television, from an epic historical drama to a harrowing documentary," said Jacqueline Cutler, TCA president.
