This Tiny Hack Transforms Your Cinnamon Rolls Into an Easter Brunch Centerpiece

Easter can really have the ability to sneak up on you. One day, you're celebrating a snowy Valentine's Day, and the next thing you know, you’re rushing through the grocery store trying to get your hands on an egg-dying kit. If this sounds like your situation this year, you can easily turn something you likely already have in your house—cinnamon rolls—into an Easter breakfast worth remembering.

Creator Giustina, or @domesticallyblissful on Instagram, shared a now-viral Reel to her 924,000-plus followers detailing exactly how to turn a cinnamon roll into a cute little bunny. In the video, which has more than 532,000 likes, the creator starts by laying out five cinnamon rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

None of the rolls touch each other—there are at least two inches separating each. Giustina notes in the comments that she’s using Trader Joe’s brand cinnamon rolls, but you can use any you have around—or, even homemade if you're a couple hours ahead of schedule. She unrolls a few inches of the outside roll and forms them into two tall bunny ears. Then, she presumably follows the directions on the package and bakes the cinnamon rolls all the way through. Once they’re done and out of the oven, she spoons the glaze and icing on top.

“These Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls are a crazy easy last-minute recipe to make for a spring party or Easter brunch,” Giustina wrote in the caption of the post. “And while these bunny-shaped cinnamon rolls are adorable on their own, I really wanted to add some pastel flowers on top. So, I found edible flowers made from icing to create a little flower crown for each cinnamon roll bunny. And I’m in love with how they turned out. They are almost too pretty to eat!”

As Giustina said, while you could stop there and create a cute little Easter bunny out of cinnamon rolls, she adds a very special festive touch by giving each bunny a crown of pastel flowers made from sugar, which she notes in the comments that she got on Amazon. You could also use any kind of sprinkles you have around the house or even small, real, edible flowers from your garden.

Just about every comment mentions how sweet and fun this little cinnamon bun(ny) hack is—but one warns against leaving them in the oven for too long: "I did this and burnt them. Now I have permanent bunny shapes on the pan I used."
